Investindustrial Foundation

Seeking to build a better world

The Investindustrial Foundation was established in 2016 with the support of Investindustrial and the Bonomi family.  The objectives of the Foundation are to focus on the promotion of education, environmental protection, conservation and improvement, the arts, culture, heritage and science.

Over the last 10 years, Investindustrial has donated and committed €31 million to the Investindustrial Foundation and Invest for children, the first foundation established by Investindustrial in 2000 dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and the most disadvantaged children, and has raised further funds for individual specific causes. For example, €6 million was donated to various hospitals in Europe to support them during the Coronavirus pandemic for an overall disbursement effort that will reach around €40 million by the end of 2024.

The Investindustrial Foundation continues to support Level 20, a non-profit organisation created to encourage greater female and non-binary representation in the private equity sector; and New York University’s Stern Center for Sustainable Business and the development of the ROSI (Return on Sustainability Investment) methodology to bridge the gap between sustainability strategies and financial results.
