SNAI (www.snai.it) is the third largest player in the Italian gaming sector and the market leader in the horse and sport betting segment. Other operations include amusement with prizes (AWPs), video lottery and online skill games. SNAI also owns three horse racing tracks, two in Milan and one in Montecatini, Tuscany. The company’s core business is the collection and acceptance of sport and horse racing bets and the operation of machines and skill games through a distribution network of betting shops, betting corners and its online platform. The distribution network, operated by third parties with a revenue sharing model, comprises approximately 600 betting agencies and shops, and approximately 3,000 betting corners located in other businesses (e.g. bars and cafés) and are distributed throughout Italy. SNAI operates through a public concession system allowing the company to manage and operate betting shops and gaming machines.
